Hang on! Kathleen Madigan is bringing her just announced Potluck Party 2024 tour to the Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College. The down-to-earth award-winning comedian’s 32-year comedy career is showing no signs of slowing down, and we are honored to have her at the Wilson Center for her Cape Fear debut.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Kathleen Madigan has referred to her wildly successful career as a “happy accident,” but her loyal fanbase will recognize her seemingly effortless ability to deliver wisdom and humor to be rooted in both a tireless work ethic and an impeccable sense of humor.

“She has all but perfected the art of crafting and delivering a perfect joke.” The Chicago Tribune wrote after she performed at the Chicago Theater, “That singular dedication to the craft shows in both the evolution of her material over the years and the way she can make a complicated joke with a hidden nub of wisdom seem both effortless and offhand.”
Madigan has won the American Comedy Award and the Phyllis Diller Award for “Best Female Comedian.” Her most recent comedy special, “Hunting Bigfoot,” is available on Prime Video.
