Take flight and escape to Neverland with Wendy, John, Michael, and the playful boy who doesn’t want to grow up – Peter Pan. Wilmington Dance Theatre and the Wilmington Conservatory are thrilled to share their take on the whimsical and heartwarming interpretation of Peter Pan based on the 1911 novella by J.M. Barrie. Featuring professional dancers, local artists, and students of Wilmington Conservatory of Fine Arts.
With faith, trust, and pixie dust, be amazed by spectacular high-flying stunts on the journey to Neverland. See Captain Hook and his swashbuckling pirates, mesmerizing mermaids with under the sea creatures, brave Princess Tiger Lily and Neverland warriors, the wild Lost Kids of Neverland, and Peter’s loyal companion, Tinker Bell, and her fairy friends! This playful and magical show is sure to enthrall audiences of all ages!
Since 2007 Wilmington Dance Theatre has entertained audiences at the Wilson Center as a resident nonprofit company performing original productions of “The Sleeping Beauty,” “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, “Cinderella,” “Pinocchio,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “ The Nutcracker ."
