Wilson Center presents
Ginuwine & Montell Jordan
Friday, February 7, 2025 7:30pm (Doors: 6:30pm)
Ginuwine with Special Guest Montell Jordan
Ginuwine has released a number of multi-platinum and platinum-selling albums and singles, becoming one of R&B's top artists during the 1990s heyday of hip-hop soul. Ginuwine’s first single, “Pony,” showcased his smooth vocals and signature style. Since then, he has been nominated a GRAMMY Award, a BET Award, and nominated three times for Favorite Male R&B Artist at the American Music Awards. He also won Soul Train Music Award’s Best R&B/Soul Male Album.
Ahead of Ginuwine’s performance, special guest Montell Jordan will appear live in concert. Montell Jordan yielded one of 1995's biggest hits with his debut single, "This Is How We Do It." The L.A. native has released seven albums, fourteen singles, and was nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
Additionally, local talent Bigg B will be performing a DJ set in the Wilson Center lobby ahead of the show. He will judge a dance contest and crown the winner, who will receive free tickets to a future show of their choice. The lobby doors will open at 6:00 for this nostalgic 90s event.
